Annual Holiday Dinner

Nothing makes me happier than spending an evening in Memphis with my favorite crew- one that I've known since my elementary days. We're talking 20+ years. We've seen the good, the bad and the downright ugly over the years... and so our annual reminiscing convention always devolves into a full-out laughathon. Movember

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Last night, a huge benefit party was thrown for all those 'mo growin' gents. Of course, I took my dad who has been rockin' a 'mo well before many of the party goers were even born. What can I say, he's a real trailblazer that lee askew.

Dangit, she even had a decent passport picture! Mine (which I renewed 2 years ago) was for the longest time the single most embarrassing photo of me in circulation (and i'm even including my lame freshman year CC ID in which I was rocking a "hippie-goth" look). The passport shot was literally "Buzz, your girlfriend, WOOF" bad.

Palm Beach Spring Event

Above is the save the date (sent out earlier this year) with the chosen color palette ( fuchsia and kelly green). I incorporated that palette into their options for their big event-- giving it a sort of sophisticated lilly pulitzer spin. Hoping to attend next spring... nothing quite like escaping the grim cold of nyc for Palm Beach in the early spring.
