I just LOVE the table names that Mary has chosen- They are all titles of books and names of estates in Jane Austen’s oeuvre. Such a wonderfully clever way to add a memorable, unique touch to the wedding. Can't wait for her to fully launch her event planning company!

Sweet Ren gave me one of the best birthday presents ever-- a full day of cooking lessons! The two of us arrived early on Sunday morning, prepared to get our bake on. After a few thousand cups of coffee, and a few rookie mistakes, we got into our cooking groove and really busted out some great treats-- double chocolate scones and sticky cinnamon buns... all made from scratch... Somewhere Kurt Cobain is turning in his grave

Actually, he's probably spinning like a Tasmanian Devil. There are just so many things wrong with this skate performance... from the synthetic hair piece to the sleeveless flannel, it's all just one big choreographed hot mess. He clearly stole my moves at the 3:20 mark... that's exactly what I do when the jeans come out of the dryer a lit-tle too tight. That said, if this ridiculous ice buffoon doesn't brighten your day, then I just don't know what will. Enjoy nuggets!

Sorry to all for being absent

HUGE deadline with my imprintable card line... and have gone into hermit mode like no other in order to meet it head-on. So, many apologies to my mum, Katie, Lizzie, Julie, Thaler, Kimmies, Crums, God, etc for not being able to chat these past few weeks. And a special apology goes out to all the bartenders of nyc, whose salaries have been particularly hard hit by my absence. I am so, SO sorry.
