More to come... here are a few teaser shots. Will be posting all in the upcoming days. But can we talk real quick? Who gets a double rainbow on their wedding? You just can't top that. The gauntlet for Most-Amazing-Wedding-Backdrop has been thrown.
Getting picked up by the lovely and talented, Katie "Cuddles" Johnson and her bf, Lee... and heading up to Vermont for a major weekend adventure. Tonight, wine on Lake Champlain at sunset. Tomorrow night, Rebecca and Jimmy's wedding-- an event that is near and dear to both Katie and me. Will post pictures of the epic night, and of all of our design details. It's going to be incredible. Above, our hand-drawn map of Stowe for Rebecca's wedding guests.
A few of my favorite pics from the weekend, including an art-directed poolside shot, complete with Hamptons Magazine, Betty Draper lipstick (bonus points: it matched the lounge cushion) and a martini. And yes people, my skin is just that white. Love giving 70 SPF a run for its money.
Unfortunately Friday brought less than desirable weather our way -- as in a never ending monsoon -- but we made the most of it by drinking our way through a lazy afternoon at an appropriately named pub in east hampton, Rowdy Hall. Indeed.
Have been invited to spend a long weekend in the Hamps... and am leaving first thing tomorrow for what will hopefully be a sunny weekend away with great company.
Am working with RB and JB on their INCREDIBLE menu for their wedding... I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to experience this palette pleaser first hand come July. It will be one for the history books. Above, a sample of the menu and recipe card-- with a diagram of the folder that will house all pieces. Also, examples of patterned escort cards that will be placed just outside the reception tent.
From Joc and Nic's wedding-- hopefully more shots to come of all designed collateral pieces we created. The wedding looked so beautiful... congrats to the happy couple!
New artist crush of the day: Dyna Moe. Her illustrated depictions of famous scenes from Mad Men are to die for. Now if I could just get a Don Draper Poster to hang above my bed, with some sort of martini dispenser, I'd be set for life.
